The Archaeological Museum of Mykonos – Historical Attraction

Erected in 1902, the museum was initially used to preserve vestiges which dated back to 425BC. Following the unearthing of the pit 1898, which was uncovered from Scholar D. Stavropoulos in, the museum has gone on to preserve many historical relics, as well as sculptures.

With exhibits stretching to as far back to the Hellenistic period, visitors can experience a glimpse back in time to the era of Alexander the Great and the Macedon Kingdom.

For anyone who wants to bear witness to some of the world’s most ancient artifacts in existence, some over 7000 years old, this place is definitely worth visiting.
